Bengaluru: The II PU examinations kicked off across the state on Thursday, with over 6 lakh students appearing for Physics and Economics papers. Most of the students were of opinion that the paper was too easy and had many questions from previous years exams. However, many students were confused with question 31 of Part D.
What is in the question?
The question no. 31 is printed wrong as there are no expressions with notations n, u, v, Q, R . However, the last sentence of the question reads "symbols have their usual meaning". specifies Q is charge ..... So the complete meaning of the question is wrong..... Moreover, the question is wrong in Kannada version also.....
What should have been in the question then?
Its a relation connecting refractive index, object distance, image distance and radius of curvature. But, Q is misprinted here, which denotes charge.
Kareducation.in spoke to an official of DPUE. "We have already received many complaints with this regard and our higher authorities have been notified about the same. We are coordinating with all responsible departments to rectify the issue" said an official. As of now, there is no information of whether or not the grace marks will be awarded.
