MYSURU: The First Convocation Ceremony of Amrita University Mysuru campus was held on 23 September for the students who have successfully completed their Academic Programmes at University Campus, Mysuru, Karnataka.
The campus bagged 4 gold and 5 Silver medals with 13 ranks. In total 242 students (both PG and UG) received their degrees during the graduation ceremony.
Guest of Honour Sri. Randeep. D, Deputy Commissioner Mysuru District addressed the gathering and enlightened the graduates about the various modes of Challenges in life after they step out from the college.
Chief Guest Smt. Madhuri Thathachari, Managing Trustee, Bhramara Trust addressing the graduates explained the importance of humility in youngster’s attitude as they are the future of the world.
Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary Mata Amrithandamayi Math delivered the benedictory address where he expressed that Universe itself is University where everything can be learnt only by possessing the beginner’s attitude to be successful in life and blessed the graduates.
Guest of Honour Prof. Vijay E Menon IAS, IPS and IFS training panelist was also present at the event.
The Convocation ceremony was declared closed by Sampujya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, followed by National Anthem.
The graduation day was followed by Alumni meet.
