The candidate must be a citizen of India, and
(a) For Engineering Courses :-
Should have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
(b) For Sound Recording and Cinematography Courses:-
Should have passed Karnataka PUC-2/PCM or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
(c) For Non-Engineering Courses:-
1) Commercial Practice and Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology
Should have passed Karnataka SSLC or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
2) Library Science & Information Management / Business Administration
Should have passed Karnataka PUC-2 or equivalent examination and have studied and passed with 35% marks in aggregate.
