Bangalore University (BU) has announced the calendar of events for odd semesters (first, third, fifth and seventh) for undergraduate courses, including BA, BSc., BCom., BBM, BHM, BVA, BSc. (FAD) and BCA for the academic year 2014-15.
According to the calendar, admissions will begin on June 2, while colleges will open on June 25. The last working day will be October 18. Practical exams will begin on September 29 while theory exams will be held from October 27. Classes for the even semesters will commence on December 8.
Fee structure
Students who have passed out of Pre-University from Karnataka have to pay Rs. 900, and non-Karnataka students have to pay Rs. 2,900. The fee for NRI students will be Rs. 6,500 and Rs 7,550 for foreign students.
Students from Karnataka opting for the BCA course will have to pay Rs. 5,550 while non-Karnataka students have to pay Rs. 7,550. NRI students have to pay Rs. 11,150 and foreign students will be charged Rs. 10,150.
